Claudia Eraña

Lower ELEMENTARY co-lead teacher

Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Northeast University of Tampico, México) Montessori Trained Ages 3-6 years and Ages 6-9 Level I IB PYP certification Member of American Montessori Society Over 11 years of teaching experience Esprit tenure since Fall 2009 I was born and raised in Tampico, México. I am married and have two wonderful sons. I learned about the Montessori Philosophy around 1994 and was thoroughly impressed. Soon after, I started working as a Montessori assistant. I absolutely loved the experience, I had found my calling. We relocated to The Woodlands, yet I still wanted to be a part of the Montessori community. I am very grateful to have found such a nurturing and marvelous environment to work at. I especially enjoy teaching cultural studies in Lower Elementary. I find it immensely rewarding to see the awe in my student’s faces as they learn and discover new, exciting things. I believe that my diverse background and cultural experiences allow me to provide students with a unique and interesting insight into different topics. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to classical music, and watching movies. I also like arts and crafts, as will be evident by your child’s cultural projects!
